Youth bands free 2009 BFBB membership
Whether you are a county band, school band, community band or junior band, membership of the British Federation of Brass Bands (BFBB) brings benefits that both save you money and give you peace of mind… and now you can have it for FREE.
Running a youth organisation is a serious responsibility and with ever increasing guidelines on Child Protection and Health & Safety etc., it is reassuring to know that, as members, you can turn to the BFBB for guidance.
As banding’s national body we believe that BFBB membership is vital for every youth band. In order to both support and protect our youth bands and their members we are inviting you to join now for FREE, giving you access to all BFBB benefits from now until 31st December 2009. That means free, unlimited CRB checks, discounts on specialist insurance as well as helpline advice and our regular newsletter.
So, what’s the catch? There isn’t one, because next year, should you decide to continue your membership, we have fixed the cost for youth bands at half the usual membership fee, just £50 for 12 months instead of £100.
For the 40 or so bands who participate in the National Youth Brass Band Championships we hope that you’ll all register your bands. Your support will help us to keep running fantastic events such as this. If your band has not already competed at this premier event, we hope that you’ll consider entering next year on 18th April 2010 at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.
That’s it, there is nothing to lose, and a great deal to gain so let’s work together and ensure a great future for our youth bands.
Yours sincerely
Gary Walczak
Youth Officer, BFBB
