The BFBB aims to maintain, improve, represent and promote the practice and performance of brass band music in the UK. The BFBB is constantly working on behalf of member bands to meet these objectives.

Fedsure is an all-inclusive insurance package specially designed for members of the BFBB, bringing together the specialist skills of brokers Brass Band Insurance Services and the BFBB.

Free CRB checks

The BFBB offer to make CRB checks free of charge on behalf of member bands.

Parliamentary Group

The All Party Parliamentary Group for Brass Bands has a membership drawn from Members of the House of Commons (MPs) and members of the House of Lords.

English National Brass Band Championship

The English National Brass Band Championship was Established n 2006 in response to requests from bands to stage an English Championships.

The English Nationals contest is the qualifying contest for selection of England's band representatives to the European Brass Band Championships.

National Youth Brass Band Championships

of Great Britain

The National Youth Brass Band Championship of Great Britain is probably the oldest youth brass band event in the world and is by far the most prestigious banding event in the calendar for British youth bands.
