Founded in 1968, the BFBB aims to support brass bands throughout the UK, ensuring a secure and successful future for the brass band movement. An annually elected Executive Committee strive for positive and fruitful developments in brass band music making.
A member of the national organisation for brass bands can expect representation of themselves to related organisations, and also a place to be democratically recognised. We are constantly working behind the scenes for member brass bands, promoting them to those outside the movement. Benefits of membership include such things as discount insurance through Fedsure, CRB checks, small grant application assistance, help and advice.
